BusyBee Events, the renowned organizer of the annual BusyBee Event Business Summit, has recently announced the details for its eighth edition. The summit is set to take place in Lagos from November 26 to 28, 2024.

This year's theme is 'The Forward-Thinking Event Professional: Innovation Meets Imagination'. This concept underscores a commitment to innovation and forward-thinking strategies within the event industry over three days of immersive activities.

A press statement sent out by BusyBee Events outlined an exciting itinerary featuring cocktail events, masterclasses, and a dinner/awards night. These activities are designed not only to inform but also engage attendees in novel ways that reflect this year's focus on future-oriented thinking.

In commenting about this upcoming summit, Bisi Sotunde, convener of the event, emphasized how crucial innovation and strategic foresight are within today’s dynamic event industry landscape. "Our goal with this year’s theme," she said, "is to inspire professionals across our sector towards embracing new technologies and anticipating emerging trends."

Sotunde further highlighted that their awards night, themed 'African Royalty', would serve as a platform for celebrating African culture while simultaneously recognizing outstanding achievements within Africa's vibrant events industry.

Meanwhile, Adeola Sessi-Traore, head of corporate sponsorship for the summit, extended an invitation for partnership opportunities with organizations and brands interested in lending support towards making this significant occasion a reality.

"We offer several avenues through which potential partners can become involved," she detailed. "These include funding contributions towards hosting the summit itself; donating branded items or products suitable for gift bags or giveaways at our various events; brand exposure opportunities throughout all aspects of our program; as well as networking possibilities with other participants."

She assured prospective sponsors that partnering with them offers excellent visibility among attendees while contributing significantly toward enhancing their brand image overall.

Among those confirmed so far to grace the summit are a host of distinguished speakers and panelists. These include Bryan Mensah from White Chalk Global, based in Accra, Ghana; Funke Bucknor-Obruthe of Zapphaire Events; Bisola Borha of TrendyBee Events; as well as Mosun Akinwamide from IPC Events.

The BusyBee Event Business Summit has consistently set the pace for discussing pertinent issues affecting Africa's event industry while providing robust networking opportunities for professionals within this sector. This year promises to continue that tradition with its focus on innovative strategies and forward-thinking approaches designed to meet the evolving demands of their dynamic industry.
