In late February, the company banned international travel for business purposes and stated that Nestle had taken additional security measures in factories, offices and distribution centers.
In his message, Schneider addressed, in particular, leading employees and factory workers, stating that their commitment and discipline are critical to maintaining business continuity.
He said that it was important to ensure the security of supplies, production and logistics, and in areas that were not yet touched, stockpiles of critical stocks and products.
