PlusToken Pyramid Scheme Withdraws $187 Million in Ether to Anonymous Address

-

The Whale Alert service recorded a move of 789,534 ETH in the amount of $187 million from PlusToken pyramid wallets.

According to Etherscan, the funds left the wallet with the Plus Token Ponzi 2 label, going to an unknown address.

According to Chainalysis analysts, PlusToken has a negative effect on bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency industry. In March, the pyramid organizers allegedly transferred about 11,000 BTC to mixers. A few days later, OXT Research, an analytics company, reported that PlusToken owned 37,725 BTCs hung on similar services.

Last week, analysts found a connection between PlusToken and a series of Ethereum transactions with unusually high commissions. According to them, in this way the pyramid could make an unsuccessful attempt to launder money.

Later it turned out that behind the transactions there is another pyramid – Good Cycle, which became a victim of hacking.
