Overview of today’s trading day:
Major indices around the world mostly ended in the red, with all indices in the Americas and Europe groups experiencing losses. As for the APAC group, indices ended in the green with the exception of one. Gold is up so far while Silver and Platinum are in the red. Brent and Crude oil are also both in the red. On the crypto front, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple are all in the red so far.
Americas
In the Americas group, each of the five indices ended in the red today. The biggest loss was experienced by the NASDAQ (-4.11%), which fell over four percent come market close. Next was the S&P 500 (-2.76%) and the Dow (-2.25%), with the former losing over two and a half percent while the latter two and a quarter percent. The best performance from this group today was seen by the S&P/TSX (-0.76%), which fell over half a percent.

Per barrel prices are at around $39.93 for Brent and $36.95 for Crude.
