Overview of today’s trading day:

Major stock indices around the world mostly ended in the red today, with all indices in the Europe and Americas groups decreasing. In the APAC group, most indices ended in the green today. Gold and Silver are in the red while Platinum is in the green. As for oil, Brent and Crude are both in the red. Lastly, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple are all in the green so far today.

Americas

In the Americas group, each of the five indices ended in the red today. Leading the losses was the Bovespa (-2.36%), which fell over two percent come market close. Next up was the NASDAQ (-1.75%) and S&P 500 (-1.51%), with both indices losing over one and a half percent come market close. The best performance from this group today was seen by the S&P/TSX (-1.15%), which fell over one percent.

The worst performance from this group today was seen by the Hang Seng (-0.64%), which fell over half a percent come market close.
