The world of health and medicine is constantly evolving, with new diseases emerging and old ones reappearing. India's southern state of Kerala reported another death due to the deadly Nipah virus. A 24-year-old student became its latest victim, making it the second such casualty this year alone. In response to this threat, officials have quarantined over 151 people who had contact with the infected individual under observation for signs of illness.
