Uterine Fibroids: The Struggle for a Cure

Tomorrow, May 17, marks the 65th birthday of a remarkable Nigerian woman who has never experienced period pains, menopausal hot flashes, or uterine fibroids. This fact sparked my interest and led me to reflect on the countless number of Nigerian women who have suffered from these conditions and have spent their lives seeking remedies for them.

Uterine fibroids are particularly common among Nigerian women in their mid-30s onwards. It is estimated that hundreds of thousands, if not millions, are affected by this condition. For many sufferers, finding an effective treatment becomes a lifelong quest, which often comes at a great financial cost.

The market for cures for uterine fibroids is vast and varied across Nigeria, with numerous treatments available that claim to provide relief from symptoms. However, many of these so-called remedies are either ineffective or target incorrect causes within the long list of potential triggers associated with this condition.

During a seminar I attended some months ago about menopausal problems organized by Mrs.Sola Sowemimo, a lawyer, farmer, and natural health care advocate, I spoke about one such individual: a rare exception amongst her peers: a woman turning 66 tomorrow who has never suffered from any menstrual-related issues, including fibroids.

So what makes this woman stand out? She does not cook with monosodium glutamate (MSG), unlike many Nigerians today. Since our association began back in 1983, she has always steered clear of MSG, known as pure sodium, something considered detrimental to both male and female health due to its excessive use in cooking processes.

Many people might be unaware of Dr. Max Gerson's work on using organic fruit juices along with "organic coffee enemas" to treat serious illnesses like cancerous tumors and tuberculosis successfully via nutrition therapy instead of resorting to pharmaceutical drugs immediately after diagnosis.

Dr. Gerson specifically highlighted how all tumors develop when cells lose potassium, an essential electrolyte, and sodium invades, replacing potassium. Therefore, if a tumor develops, it signifies that there has been a deficiency of potassium, either due to suboptimal consumption of foods rich in this nutrient or excessive intake of sodium-laden foods.

The importance of maintaining adequate levels of potassium is further emphasized by researchers and physicians worldwide. Dr. Richard Moore's work titled "THE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SOLUTION: NATURAL PREVENTION AND CURE WITH THE K FACTOR" particularly highlights the crucial role played by potassium in managing high blood pressure naturally.

There are various theories surrounding the causes of uterine fibroids, with different research groups suggesting triggers ranging from overconsumption of sugar to poor circulation in the uterus, oxidative stress damage, blockages in veins, energy loss, or shutdown within one's spiritual self, among others.

Moreover, emotional upheaval can also contribute to conditions such as false pregnancies and even uterine fibroids, as noted by American gynecologist Dr. Christiane Northrup. Essentially, when women are unable to fulfill their dreams, they may face physical manifestations like these health issues, which act as compensations on behalf of their unfulfilled desires.

Therefore, any remedy designed without considering these aspects will be ineffective since it will not target the root cause behind the development of uterine fibroids. One must remember that while sweet things might provide temporary respite or happiness for many women, including those suffering from these conditions, excess sugar disrupts hormonal balance, leading to imbalances like estrogen dominance commonly associated with uterine fibroids and other reproductive disorders in females.

Energy deficiency could also lead to complications, including pelvic region problems resulting from diet inadequacies or disconnection between body and spirit, causing an energy blackout thereby affecting organ function adversely within this area, especially among women trying too hard to emulate male behavior patterns, thus hampering their natural roles within creation itself.

Several remedies have emerged recently to address these issues, including quantum energy minerals, which, when applied to specific body parts, can improve energy content, aiding in the natural resolution of health conditions like uterine fibroids, among others.

In conclusion, the journey towards a healthy life free from ailments such as uterine fibroids is one that requires understanding and addressing multiple factors ranging from diet and emotional wellbeing to spiritual alignment. The 66-year-old woman who inspired this article has achieved this balance and continues to live a healthy life, setting an example for all women dealing with similar challenges.
