The 25th martial arts tournament of Dragon Ball Z, abruptly interrupted by the impending Majin Buu threat, has been the subject of much speculation among fans. Who would have emerged victorious? What surprises were in store for us? A saga enthusiast delved deep into these questions and presented two possible scenarios for the outcome.

Dragon Ball Z's highly anticipated competition was seen as an opportunity to showcase skills and enjoy some friendly competition during a relatively peaceful period after the Cell Saga. It was also significant because it marked Goku's return. However, this excitement was short-lived as Majin Buu made his unexpected appearance, which disrupted the progression of the tournament.

In reality, Mr. Satan won after reaching an "unofficial" monetary agreement with Android #18 in what seemed like a battle royale. But one fan went beyond that narrative to hypothesize what could've happened if not for Majin Buu's interruption.

This fan, known on YouTube as Dominus Freezer, proposed two potential outcomes: one based on power levels established within the series and another more creatively inspired by Akira Toriyama’s style. The semi-finalists remained Kaioshin, Gohan, Goku, and Mighty Mask (Goten and Trunks), with Gohan and Goku making it to the finals in both scenarios.

Dominus Freezer first used official guidelines from DBZ, including data such as Kaioshin’s power compared to Cell or Piccolo’s training progressions, to create a realistic match tree, resulting in Goku emerging victorious over Gohan due to his superior abilities, aligning with powers established through original series lines.

However, he then presents scenario two, where creativity comes into play alongside narrative possibilities less reliant on pure numbers, leading him down paths unexplored within original scripts but potentially plausible nonetheless! He suggested that out of respect for the gods, Piccolo might refuse fighting against Kaioshin, or Android 18 would propose bribing Mr. Satan, allowing him victory.

The final between Goku and Gohan still held its place in this scenario, with both showing their maximum potential. This time around, though, the fan suggested Goku might have introduced Super Saiyan 3 at this point. However, he would ultimately surrender to his son, ensuring the prize money went to his family—an ending that could’ve been possible given Goku’s selfless nature.

This deep dive into hypothetical scenarios not only demonstrates the dedication of Dragon Ball Z fans but also brings forth interesting discussions about narrative possibilities left untouched within the original series. While these propositions remain speculative, they offer a captivating insight into what could've happened during Tournament 25.

Whether you agree or disagree with Dominus Freezer's theories, one thing is certain: Dragon Ball Z fans will always continue exploring untapped narratives and "what if" scenarios from beloved sagas, which contribute towards keeping the spirit of DBZ alive!
