"Amazing Earth," the top infotainment show hosted by Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, is set to celebrate its sixth anniversary this July. The host couldn't be prouder of the strides made in raising awareness about environmental conservation and encouraging viewers to care for our planet.

In a recent report on "24 Oras," Dingdong expressed his joy and pride at being part of such an impactful project. He emphasized how crucial it is now more than ever to understand the effects of climate change, as we're beginning to witness its repercussions firsthand.

"We are feeling the impact of climate change more profoundly because it's really affecting us now," he said. "Despite being a small team, we do our best every week to deliver an entertaining yet informative show."

Interestingly, "Amazing Earth" has not only influenced its vast audience but also had a profound effect on Dingdong’s personal life, particularly his children Zia and Sixto, who have developed an appreciation for nature through watching episodes about wildlife and natural wonders.

"They better understand nature and appreciate the beauty of our environment and wildlife,” said Dantes. “It's important that they comprehend these things from a young age so their appreciation becomes stronger over time.”

As "Amazing Earth" prepares for its 6th anniversary celebration in July, audiences can anticipate exciting adventures showcasing breathtaking Philippine landscapes, including never-seen-before underwater explorations, marking another milestone in the series' history.

Reflecting back on last year’s celebration, Dingdong shared how hosting 'Amazing Earth' helped him learn one episode at a time while growing as a global citizen himself.

Besides his acting career, Dantes is known for his strong advocacy for environmental protection. In December 2020, he joined forces with other renowned personalities like Atom Araullo and Kim Atienza, along with Climate Change Commissioner Rachel Herrera, to discuss pressing issues related to climate change.

Let's not forget that back in 2015, when Dingdong was serving as the National Youth Commission's (NYC) Commissioner-at-Large, he delivered a powerful speech at the Paris Climate Change Conference's Climate Vulnerable Forum. The late former President Benigno Aquino III and other NYC officials accompanied him.

As "Amazing Earth" continues to thrive under Dantes' stewardship, its mission of fostering environmental consciousness remains more critical than ever. In these challenging times where climate change is becoming an increasingly apparent threat, shows like "Amazing Earth" serve as important platforms for advocacy, spreading awareness while entertaining viewers with enchanting glimpses into nature’s wondrous beauty.

Dingdong Dantes’ pride in being part of this show is not just about celebrating six successful years on air; it’s about the positive impact made in raising environmental awareness among viewers, one episode at a time.
