Overview of today’s trading day: Due to memorial day, many major financial markets were closed today. However, those that were open seemed to perform rather well. Each and every major stock index ended in the green today come market close. As for commodities, gold and silver saw a decline while platinum increased alongside oil. Crypto experienced a slight drop in the last 24 hours, with Bitcoin going sub $9000 once again. In the Americas, only two major markets were open out of the five. The Bovespa (+4.30%) ended the day a gain of over four percent. The S&P/TSX (+1.09%) also ended in the green with an increase of just over one percent. As for commodities, metals including gold, silver, and platinum each saw decreases, while brent and crude oil saw increases.
