Fasset, a UAE-based digital asset exchange platform, has recently been recognized as the best crypto and blockchain company at the prestigious Best in Business Awards by Inc. Arabia. This annual award ceremony is renowned for celebrating the outstanding achievements, innovative ideas, and impactful contributions of GCC-based businesses across 31 categories. 
 
The awards are hosted by Inc. Arabia is intended to shine a light on businesses that have made significant contributions to the economic growth and development of the GCC region. The goal is to display exemplary practices, leadership skills, and groundbreaking initiatives that will shape future business trends across various sectors, including e-commerce, real estate, AI, and fintech, among others. Nominees undergo a rigorous selection process overseen by Inc.'s judging committee, which is comprised of decision-makers and thought leaders from diverse industries. 
 
Established in 2019 by Mohammad Raafi Hossain (CEO) and Daniel Ahmed (COO), both former advisors to the UAE's Prime Minister's Office contributing towards the vision of technological excellence in the UAE, Fasset aims at democratizing access to pioneering financial management tools for an anticipated global audience numbering billions. 
 
Mohammad Raafi Hossain expressed his excitement about this recognition, saying: "Being acknowledged at the Best in Business Awards validates our company’s vision along with all the hard work put forth by our team, consisting of 86 members spread across three offices who strive tirelessly to deliver top-notch products for our users." He further added how they aim at empowering their users with innovative yet transparent investment solutions while ensuring safety measures regarding money management are met meticulously. 
 
Fasset's platform offers secure transactions involving digital assets like cryptocurrencies or tokenized real-world assets from any location around the globe via user-preferred currency. Users can buy or invest in these assets, participate in spot exchange transactions, and transfer funds within a secured blockchain environment. Among the available investment options are stablecoins and bundles. 
 
Since its launch after obtaining a full operational VASP license from VARA through a multi-stage approval process in March 2024, Fasset has experienced rapid growth. In April 2024, the company declared its intentions to launch in Malaysia after signing a Letter of Intent with MBSB Bank Berhad at the KL20 Summit. This partnership was hailed by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar bin Ibrahim as signifying the readiness of his country for innovative transformation. 
 
Fasset aims to extend its operations further across and beyond the region in the near future, having already garnered a substantial digital asset licensing portfolio in emerging markets connecting places like the UAE, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Turkey.
