Yantra to IPO on Monday

Travel portal Yatra will be listed on the NASDAQ on Monday at the opening bell under the ticker symbol, YTRA.

Yantra has completed a reverse merger with Terrapin 3 Acquisition Corp earlier this year and raised more than $90,000,000.00 to date from investors.

The merged entity, Yatra Online, Inc, will continue to be helmed by CEO Dhruv Shringi. Mr. Shringi says, “We have a much better capitalised balance sheet now. The additional capital will be used to deepen our penetration into India, especially in the tier II, tier III cities. This is crucial as the entire country moves very fast towards a cashless economy.”

Yatra’s board will comprise of 5 members from Yatra and one from Terrapin.

After Monday, Yatra Online Inc becomes the 4th Indian company to be listed on the NASDAQ.
